Program 1
$25KAbdul hameed education: in 2024, aecf was awarded a restricted grant from the abdul hameed shoman foundation to establish and grow our library program. Expenses inlcuded enlarging the library space, adding new books and equipment, and hosting an array of programs for students and families. The grant supported fiedl trips for students and stipends for parents to volunteer for read-aloud programs and other reading-focused initiatives. Two dedicated staffs were also trained as librarians.

$10KSyrian youth empowerment: in 2024, aecf signed a grant agreement with sye to adapt their signature college prep program for the students in azraq. This included translating curriculum into arabic and supporting the azraq staff to provide services for a group of college-bound students to strategize and prepare for the rigoroous college admissions process.
Program 3
$23KHumanitarian aid distributes food aid to vulnerable jordanian and syrian families in the azraq community. Emergency medical relief is provided on a case-by-case basis.
