Head start/early head start services include early childhood education, health services, family support, mental health support, nutrition and support for children with disabilities. The children's home society of new jersey is the child care resource and referral agency for ocean county, assisting families to access child care and child care subsidies for their children and helps providers to become and stay certified. Staff provide training and technical assistance for child care providers and parents around child care, child development and safety issues.
