The focus of the good foundation of texas is to serve populations in need of a change -- those at the intersection of issues such as abuse, human trafficking, addiction, and crime. The foundation seeks to convene, spotlight, and bring awareness to the incredible capacity and potential of people who have faced unimaginable challenges but are working toward building a new life. The foundation's staff has conducted extensive research on the issues of sex trafficking and social innovation, and has regularly attended conferences and events on these issues. The operations of ruthie's food trucks have been integrated into the foundation as a charitable program. Ruthie's hires youths who have been exposed to trafficking or other life challenges and provides them the skills needed to break the cycle of desperation.
