THE HESBURGH-YUSKO SCHOLARS FOUNDATION

The hesburgh-yusko scholars program is the first merit-based and enrichment scholarship program at the university of notre dame, but the benefits for scholars far exceed the monetary award. The program is also a leadership development program that engages students throughout the academic year and summer.the university of notre dame is undergoing a restructuring of their merit and need based scholarships under the guidance of father daniel groody. The hesburgh-yusko scholars program will wait for direction from the university on the future expenditures of the scholars program. Basically a rebranding with an umbrella structure and hysp will function in some form under that. At this point we are paying for any expenses that are requested. A donation was made to the university of $150,000 in december 2024 to the buttigieg endowment for student enrichment.
