Program 1
We wish to save horses that would otherwise be killed, particularly old racetrack horses, and horses, who for one reason or another, are given up by their owners. Historically, when a horse loses its ability to perform it is sent to slaughter.
Program 2
We wish to provide an alternative to the slaughter house, ideally, each horse would be place either with a mounted police unit or in a suitable home.
Program 3
Secondly, we wish to honor those public safety officers who have been slain in the line of duty and/or have been involed in selfless, heroic acts. To that end, we wish to name equines after individulas who have, through their actions and bravery, given
