Tarrant county mental health and mental retardation ("mhmr") is a non-profit 501c(3) entity which offers help for childred and adults with behavioral health and/or substance abuse needs and other serious emotional concerns. Mhmr can help with behavioral health diagnosis, financial assistance, limited medical care, prescriptions and treatment options., the jewish war veterans post 755 ("tjwvp")earmarks donations to mhmr's liberty house, a 30 -bed transitional housing program for homeless male veterans. Liberty house offers veterans with substance abuse and mental health problems the chance to live and work on their recovery. In 2022, tjwvp donated 12,000 to liberty house for veterans' housing and related assistance.

Jrotc stands junior reserve officer's training corps. It is a military-regulated high school program whose purpose is to educate high school studentsin leadership roles while making them aware of the benefits of citizenship. The mission of jrotc is to motivate young people to become better american citizens and it's mission the guide post for the program's success. Students who participate in jrotc take classes that focus on study skills, history, citizenship, military drills and discipline and physical fitness, among many other things, and are taught by retired military instructors. In 2022, tjwvp provided 1,700 to jrotc to support its mission.
