The learning coalition continued to partner with willing stakeholders to build understanding of and capacity for multi-stakeholder collaboration to further student engagement. 2024 was a year of managing investments made in previous years and furthering tlc's strategic vision. The following are a few highlights of tlc's commitment to school-community partnerships: - the hawaii education research network (hern) invigorates research-practice partnerships with an aim to identify and promote research that fuels innovation and effective policy and practice in public education. Managed by the university of hawaii at manoa college of education, hern also provides opportunities to build shared understanding about education research and gives partners space to share resources and research findings. - the hawaii afterschool alliance (haa) is a network of individuals and organizations dedicated to supporting and advancing sustainable, quality afterschool, summer learning, and community schools th
