Programs & Activities

Program 1

$65K

Intermountain foundation - in 2024 donations for primary children's hospital helped two areas of focus. The first was an endowment of $50,000 for the gail miller campus school zone. The school zone gives children having treatments or prolonged stays at the hospital the opportunity to obtain a book to read while at the facility or access teacher support while away from the classroom. The other funds donated were for the arcs program which is an assessment, referral and consultation service that helps screen, triage and place children who need support in behavioral health.

Program 2

$34K

Ornament fundraiser - provided books and other items (purchased with cash from organization) which benefited multiple organizations and families with needed services.

Program 3

$19K

Operation literacy - operation literacy focuses on reading and writing for students. They offer book drops, courses and conventions for young students to attend where they can learn about writing and get excited to read. Last year we donated to their book drop program where they would go into lower income schools and have an author present. At these book drops every student gets a book. We also helped support their upcoming convention storycon.

Program 4

$10K

League of utah writers - the funds sent to league of utah writers were used for a book drop literacy event. The author for this event was kaela rivera and all funds went to purchasing books that were given to each student that attended.
