THE MENNINGER CLINIC OF KANSAS INC

The menninger clinic, inc., which operated in topeka, kansas for over 75 years, moved its operations to houston, texas in june 2003. The texas clinic operations are reported under a separate not-for-profit corporation, the menninger clinic, ein# 37-1453409. As of june 30, 2014, the kansas clinic liquidated its assets and entered into a final agreement with the pension guaranty benefit corporation regarding its liabilities for pension benefits in connection with the menninger foundation retirement plan. The kansas clinic transferred all of its assets (consisting of cash) to the pbgc and all remaining liabilities have been assumed by the menninger foundation kansas. The organization has not yet formally dissolved its legal existence with the state of kansas.
