Program 1
$14KMres worked with the minnesota pollution control agency to train eighty volunteers to staff the eco experience area of the minnesota state fair. The volunteers explained the different solar technologies to 218,354 people during the 12-day run of the state fair. A new exhibit helped the volunteers explain how personal actions effect co2 emissions and climate change. These activities educate the general public on how renewable energy works and how they can participate in its benefits. This education is conducted in spanish and english. We formed relationships with passive house minnesota and the climate reality project for this activity.
Program 2
$100Mres hosted the minnesota solar / sustainability tour of over eleven different sites across the state of minnesota. This was a hybrid tour this year. The sites opened their homes and business to the general public so that they could see different renewable energy technologies and energy reduction technologies. This allows people to learn about renewable technologies on a person-to-person basis. Ases reported 10,000 plus website hits during the tour this year.

$6KMres provided information on renewable energy topics to over 276,308 people at 10 events in 2024. This might be a tabling event in the park or a church to the eco experience.
