The Minnie Perkins Foundation

Beginning in April 2020, all Minnie Perkins programs stopped due to Covid-19 restrictions. We transitioned our program to an outdoor model and ran the first of these in June 2021. We will continue to conduct outdoor-based programs and resume indoor-based programs in 2022.There are two components to the Minnie Perkins Foundations charitable activities: Trainings for youth (Step into the Future) and Community Outreach. The first deals with personal effectiveness and leadership for teenagers, focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution, responsibility, health and well-being, and the ability to say no and not be swayed by peer pressure.Community Outreach includes personal effectiveness programs for adults, emphasizing developing accountability, a vision and goals for the future, and leadership skills with teens and other adults.
