Community planning - tpc provides expert support in community needs assessments, strategic planning, grant writing, coalition building, and capacity development. Additional services include training, consultation, technical assistance, and program evaluation. Tpc coordinates homeless service programs funded by hud and the virginia department of housing and community development in south hampton roads and the virginia peninsula, working with over 110 partner agencies. Tpc manages the regional homeless management information system (hmis), supporting 375 user licenses, and hosts websites for 125 stakeholders. Through a partnership with sentara's hope fund, tpc serves as an impartial third party, reviewing over 1,000 applications annually and distributing more than $800,000 in financial assistance to sentara health employees experiencing unexpected financial hardship.
