THREE LITTLE PIGS FOUNDATION

The foundation operates a fully functional community farm, maitri farm, llc, located on 106.7 acres of land located in amenia, new york, on which organic vegetables and flowers are harvested. The farm embraces a holistic approach to farming, recognizing the farm as an ecosystem with interconnected elements. A core focus of the farm revolves around managing, protecting and conserving the farmland in its natural state in order to sustain healthy plants, animals, and ultimately, the well-being of the community. The foundation enhances the overall welfare of the community by operating a farm stand at which its farm products are sold to local residents and making such products available for sale to local merchants, which contribute importantly to the achievement of the foundation's tax-exempt purposes by stimulating and enhancing public awareness, interest and appreciation of the benefits of local, sustainable agriculture advanced by community farm projects.
