THRIVE NEW ORLEANS

Thriveworks green, our worksforce training program, trains bipoc individuals for careers in the smgi industry and connects them to living- wage jobs. Our 8 week paid cohort model provides individuals with technical skills, hands-on training and apprenticeships for long-term sucess in the field. By giving participants a living-wage stipend, we address barriers that impact equitable access to job training. Certification: clean water certificate (cwc), osha 10, transportation worker identification credential (twic), national center for construction education and research (nccer), heavy equipment (het), forklift, commercial driver's license (cdl), and horticulture. Our equity-forced program offers the support of a career coach, a life coach, a mental health professional, a substance abuse counselor, job placement specialist, and a postgraduate coach.
