Program 1
$13KBlockhouse steeplechase attracts over 10,000 spectators to the local area. The event provides ample opportunity for equestrian spectators and professionals from all over the united states an opportunity to enjoy the production of a historic equestrian competition. Proceeds from the event enable tryon riding and hunt club to donate funds to local charitable organizations, provide scholarships and educational resources and fund our partnership with local non-profit and nature conservation groups.
Program 2
$12KThe tryon riding & hunt clubs heritage charity horse show will run for its 92nd year in 2019 and will be awarded the united states equestrian federations heritage award. The trhc charity show is only the 27th show in the country to receive this honor as a historical show with many years of operation. The show runs for five days with a variety of jumper and hunter divisions in multiple rings at the tryon international equestrian center. Trhc typically awards a number of permanent trophies each year across at least a dozen divisions. The club also hosts a celebratory dinner on friday night and a number of other social events. Trhc typically does not realize any financial benefits from this event but considers this event a generous gift to the local and national competitors who compete as well as the many fans who come out to support the show.

$8KThe trhc horse and hound show hosts a competition for local and regional equestrians and fox hunting clubs. The show enriches the local community by drawing competitors to town, prividing sponsorship and advertising opportunities for local businesses, as well as providing spectator education and entertainment.
Program 4
$3KTryon riding & hunt club horse trials continues a local tradition of offering an eventing experience for competitors of all capability and experience levels. We partner with local experts in the various disciplines to create both a competitive and educational experience for participants at a professional venue maintained by a local non-profit organization. The event is conducted over three days on porperty which is under conservation eastment. Fees and donations provided as a part of this event are used to support the non-profit, as well as other local organizations. The 2024 horse trials event was moved to tryon international equestrian center. Due to the damage from hurricane helene, the event was cancelled.

$3KAny and all dog show: this decades-old event offers the opportunity for pet lovers young and old to join us for a sunday afternoon of entertainment, education and community fellowship. This event began as a horse and hound show in the community, which was a full day of demonstrations and activities rec ognizing the natural connection between horses and canines. In its current form, the dog show ifs free for participants, and all proceeds from sponsors and donors are given to local charities that support animal health and well-being.

$2KThe purpose of the carolina show hunter hall of fame program is to recognize and promote exceptional show hunters and horsemen. Annual events include a membership drive, nomination and voting period, and an awards ceremony where the awards are presented. Donations and sponsorships enable the hall of fame to honor the inductees and create an exhibit showcasing them.

$400Cross country schooling day allows local riders the chance to school their horses on the foothills equestrian nature center (fence) cross country course prior to trhcs fall horse trials event.with the move of our horse trials event to tryon international equestrian center, there was no need to have a schooling day prior to the horse trials event at fence, so schooling day was cancelled.
