The Quarterly Community Lunch & Learns are intergenerational community-building education series that gathers youth families seniors and community members for a free catered meal and a hands-on learning workshop. Each month rotates through the four pillars: Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment Storytelling & Oral Histories STREAM Science Technology Reading Engineering Arts Math Urban Agriculture & Food Sovereignty Participants build practical skills connect across generations and strengthen community ties while enjoying a nutritious meal. Workshops are interactive culturally relevant accessible and hands-on. PROGRAM GOALS: Strengthen community connections through shared meals and learning.

$2KSTEAM Education From the Vine is a community-run garden & learning program that runs all year long. It pairs hands-on gardening with a STREAM curriculum Science Technology Reading Engineering Arts Math for children and adults. The program runs on volunteer labor; volunteers and participants receive breakfast and lunch. It pairs hands-on gardening with a STREAM curriculum Science Technology Reading Engineering Arts Math for children and adults. The program combines planting maintenance harvest work structured STREAM lessons intergenerational mentorship and community meals. Outcomes: workforce-ready skills environmental stewardship food access intergenerational connection and measurable increases in garden yield and participant knowledge.
