Student success program - americorps and uwnu provide student intervention to support students in box elder, morgan, and ogden school districts. Ssp also provides student intervention support for more than 3000 students in other school districts across the state.

Welcome baby - welcome baby is a service for families with children aged newborn to 36 months. A trained volunteer will visit a family in their home once a month and bring supplies like diapers, wipes, clothes, and books. Included in this visit is research-based information about early childhood milestones, and a kit to help promote colors, counting, shapes, motor skills and other foundations children need for a healthy future. This program is free to all families and has no income requirements.uwnu currently serves weber, box elder, cache, davis, salt lake, and summit counties.

Alliance/strategic health partnership - in october 2018, uwnu entered into a multi-year agreement with a goal to improve the wellbeing of award recipeints, reduce healthcare costs, and be a model for change by addressing social determinants of health and promote health equity. The alliance is a demonstration project between local, private, and public sectors and funding is allocated to community projects to meet the initiative goals. This project has now been extended through 2024.211- 211 is the most comprehensive source of information about local resources and services in the country. United ways of utah partner together to provide accurate and relevant health and human service referrals for individuals seeking help in our community. The outcome, 211, provides clarity on where to go and supports making connections to organizations that offer health and service resources all around utah. 211 connects people to a variety of services, including housing, food, healthcare, and utilities. It is available in more than 200 languages, and you can call on behalf of yourself or friends and family who are looking for assistance navigating services.learn with playgroup - the free learn with playgroup program, is for caregivers and children (aged newborn-5) to learn and have fun with other families from the same geographical area. Each weekly 2-hour session emphasizes social-emotional learning through a wide variety of engaging activities, including free play, circle time, art, singing, reading, movement activities, sensory play and a parent corner. Learn with playgroup families receive:free educational curriculumage-specific development information and parenting tipsfree monthly children's bookbuild your child's librarydedicated play time with other childrenart activitiesparent-child bondingsupport system for parentsnonprofit connection - nonprofit connection supports local nonprofits to increase their capability and capacity by providing training and resources in the 11 critical domains. Nonprofit connection can help your organization build skills and gain knowledge to amplify your impact to build healthy stable and well-educated communities.weber ctc - the weber ctc's mission is to strengthen youth, families, and our community by prioritizing underage substance use prevention and mental health promotion.housing & homelessness - provide backbone support to the weber/morgan local homeless council, carrying forward the everyday work of accomplishing of the council's objectives.
