URBAN ARCHIVE INC

Urban archive's digital platform consists of a web and mobile app (the "app") and leverages location technology and open data to promote access to underutilized museum collections - including historical photographs, oral histories, and archival documents - in a single centralized resource, built around an intuitive, map-based interface. The collections are sourced from our partner organizations, which include large institution, like the museum of the city of new york and queens public library, to smaller ones, like the alice austen house in staten island and village preservation. Urban archive's web and mobile apps are free, user friendly, accessible online, and open to anyone. With more than 225,037 annual users, the apps are used extensively by educators, researchers, students, and scholars in the digital humanities, planning, and preservation space.
