UTHAVUM KARAM

Second accomplishment during the year 2024 we successfully built a school building for chrystlersfarm tamil school in the kotagala district, located in sri lanka, to support education in the region. The construction involved completing classroom's for students, which spans approximately 60 feet by 20 feet in size. This significant development was fully funded by utavum karam, who covered all construction expenses and ensured the project met the required standards. Upon completion, the fully constructed classrooms was officially handed over to the school, marking a meaningful contribution to the local community's educational infrastructure and providing a better learning environment for the students.

Third accomplishment the economically depressed people of sri lanka are not able to afford to provide food, uniforms and shoes to the students. The schools require the students to carry their own food, wear clean uniforms and shoes. One of the missions of uthavum karam is to help and uplift the poor. Therefore, we provided food, uniforms and shoes to the deserving children in four schools. It is heartwarming to see students being able to eat in the school and in clean uniforms and shoes.

All other accomplishment many districts in the central east coast of sri lanka were hurt by heavy rains which created floods that destroyed people's houses, businesses and crops. More than 2,500 families were severly affected by the floods. Uthavum karam provided the needed help to the flood victims by providing groceries, clothing and shelter. We contiue to provide a helping hand to those who are suffering.
