High school students with disabilities are guided from the special education classroom to successful employment by providing on-the-job training and paid employment through our school-year transition to work program. Our pre-ets discovery academy takes place over the summer and focuses on work-based learning experiences and instruction in self-advocacy. Individuals with disabilities in versability's employment services program in hampton receive paid employment, job training, and supports not typically available in other business settings (ex: behavioral prompts). Individuals perform a variety of work, such as light manufacturing, scanning x-rays and documents, order fulfillment, and coordinating mailings. We utilize jigs that help people with mobility issues excel in work.
