Enhance facility for Pony Club and Classic Three Day Event - Funded by Maryland State Legislative Bond Initiative Waredaca Eventing Education Foundation supported the development and installation of enhanced footing in equestrian facilities used for the Waredaca Pony Club and the Waredaca Classic Three Day event. This enhance footing provides greater safety and strengthens ability for both riders and horses to perform at more advanced levels and grow their riding capabilities.

Support for Waredaca Pony Club Riding Programs - Waredaca is home to ethnically and economically diverse families. Waredaca Pony Club WPC was founded in 2007 as part of a nationwide program with the U.S. Pony Club USPC to bring the USPC to youth who do not have access to their own horse pony. WPC draws from Baltimore Washington metro area and has been able to provide outdoor recreational and competition opportunities year-round. WEEF support will allow WPC to serve broader community with more education programs and experiences.

Jimmy Wofford Legacy Fund Scholarship - 1. The Jimmy Wofford Legacy Fund Scholarship honors the late Jimmy Wofford who was instrumental in creating the USEA Classic Three-Day series. Scholarships were awarded to two adult amateurs and one junior working towards the Waredaca Classic Three-Day Event and wish to continue their eventing education. These targeted those needing support due to lack of access personal hardship or other similar circumstances and who have demonstrated their commitment to the sport by volunteering

Jimmy Wofford Legacy Fund Scholarship - Waredaca hosted the first Classic Three-Day in the US in 2004. Participants not only compete but spend several days in educational activities including lectures demonstrations and practicing with experts in the industry. The entire Classic experience is a huge educational boost for both riders & horses.Financial support from WEEF enables stronger Classic Three-Day programs by offsetting operating costs incl. the building of additional jumps hiring of additional experts & judges etc.
