At the beginning of Tax Year 2020 WYS was involved in disbursing honoraria for musicians from our concert on 28 January 2020 and planning for our remaining concerts. Because of the effective closure of the orchestra during the pandemic Tax Year 2021 involved no financial or practical activities except preparing for the legal termination of the organization. We the Board of Directors of the Washington Young Sinfonia undersigned do hereby totally and irrevocably terminate the Washington Young Sinfonia EIN: 84-3891807 as a legal and corporate entity effective 31 January 2022. We acknowledge and affirm that the Washington Young Sinfonia does not own or maintain any remaining real or financial assets and consequently has nothing further to distribute. The Washington Young Sinfonia will file its final tax return for the Tax Year 2021 ending on 31 January 2022. The Board of Directors of the Washington Young Sinfonia thanks its members Music Director and former musicians.
