WEDEL OAK WOODS FOUNDATION INC

The foundation's land contains an ecologically important wetland through which flows brennan creek and is part of the pecatonica river watershed, located in the southwest corner of wisconsin. The wedel family works to preserve and improve habitat on the land using science-based ecosystem management practices. Our efforts have improved the wetland habitat, preserved and improved the existing endangered burr oak savanna habitat, and improved a large amount of dryland prairie habitat, which now hosts a large number of bird and insect species.
