Charitable activity statement 3 wif provides project support to it senior fellows to help lead projects that will advance dispute resolution practice and processes around the world. In 2023, wif provided project support to its senior fellows to lead projects as listed below: mediation training for judges from poland and ukraine, regarding how to provide effective and efficient dispute resolution services for their courts; in collaboration with the council of justice, a pilot project in ecuador to provide mediation skills training to select justices of the peace in rural areas to bridge differences across communities in a time of division and civil unrest throughout the country; through support for community mediation initiatives in rural districts in rwanda to promote mediation and provide further opportunities for mediation practice and development; through support for the launch of the center for appropriate dispute resolution and prevention (icadrp), promotion of the development of

Charitable activity statement 4 in 2023, wif engaged in expanding the use of mediation by working with its senior fellows with law enforcement experience and expertise to develop new techniques to prevent the escalation of conflict within communities. Charitable activity statement 5 wif provided support working with its senior fellows selected from eight countries to lead the third iteration of its international mediation writing competition project to promote mediation, mediation advocacy and collaborative dispute resolution. Law students from brazil, ecuador, egypt, georgia, mexico, pakistan, romania, and singapore competed to write a mediation brief. Virtual student networking opportunities were provided in collaboration with senior fellows and board members who contributed to the students' learning and information exchange through panel interviews and discussions.

Charitable activity statement 6 as part of its ongoing work to support capacity-building in dispute resolution and collaboration among the senior fellows, the foundation reports on its projects and initiatives taking place in connection with its senior fellows through electronic, print and video communications as well as providing opportunities for senior fellows to work together through virtual and in-person meetings to contribute though dispute resolution projects and initiatives to advance the foundation's mission.
