Program includes healing allegany which seeks to reduce illness and death in allegany county, maryland related to opioid and substance use disorders and neonatal abstinence syndrome which seaks to enhance family-support services in allegany and garrett counties related to neonatal syndrome (nas), in which children are born affected by maternal drug use.allegany recovery peers (oocc peers) - provide a peer support specialist to assist participants in the drug court, pre-trial diversion, and jail reentry programs in allegany county.power peers - recruit, train, and provide adequate supervision to peer support workers.march - expand the number and diversity of healthcare professionals with abortion care training by increasing physician and apc students and practitioners' access to abortion education, increase the racial and ethnic diversity among healthcare professionals with abortion care training, through the expanation of providers to include physician and apc students and practitioners, support the identification of clinical sites in need of training, and expand contraceptive and abortion care access for women throughout maryland.healthy teen network - provide project management and training and technical assitance to implementation partners for implementing evidence-based programs with youth ages 13-19 intending to reduce rual maryland county teen birth rates, rural maryland county youth sti rates, and racial disparities in maryland rural county teen birth and sti rates.
