In anticipation of a future wetland donation, a master plan was developed for our marsh project that will make the wetland a preserve open to the public. Work was also begun on the eradication of invasive species and the planting of seeds in the ponds to establish a food source for migrating birds. Work has been completed on building several milesof trails throughout the property for hiking and observation. Logging has taken place and removal of undergrowth and boulders. Water monitoring and management has resulted in an increased population of wading and migratory birds. Keller structures has been engaged in the design of an environmental learning center featuring classrooms, an observatory and parking areas.
