100 Black Men Of Central Virginia Incorporated

Math,Men & Mission (M-Cubed) Summer Academy is a program designed to help rising 5th through 8th graders develop strong math skills. Over **** 50** kids participate in this summer program. The program providesa rigorous pre-algebra curriculum that is enhanced by instructional approaches to address the learning styles of African American males. This program has helped us increase the number of African American males enrolled in upper level math classes.

Literacy is one of the cornerstones of our educational programming, designed to be inclusive, relevant, and empowering for all learners. We promote literacy through the intentional use of literature that reflects a wide-range of voices and experiences, inviting students to engage in real-time discussions that deepen their understanding and connection to the material. Our approach integrates hands-on real-life activities that build critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills which are key elements of both academic success and personal development.
