A new grant was awarded for a 3-year project to expand the summit tunnel heritage tour program, including the establishment of a new office in sacramento, ca.

Rural chinatown & hidden sites conference is a collaboration project with federal and state agencies, universities, historical societies, etc. With the purpose of historic and scientific research and knowledge exchange.

Kennedy center cultural caucus is a collaborative project with the kennedy center's social impact program to plan, coordinate, and execute cultural and artistic performances at the kennedy center reach and millennium stage, including the annual lunar new year event.

Fiscal sponsor: 1882 foundation provides administrative and fiscal management of special projects for other small nonprofit organizations or individual artists.

Internship program is offered year round and includes a collaborative partnership with university of california washington program (ucdc) for intern placement. Students from other colleges/universities from all over the country are also selected as interns.

A group tour was organized for 56 participants in early october 2024, which included interpretative guides at the summit tunnel in the sierra nevada mountains, truckee, dutch flat, and auburn areas. The heritage tour program seeks to provide program participants with the opportunity to visit public and private sites to learn about chinese contributions to the building of the transcontinental railroad, gold mining, and early agriculture. The 1882 foundation also collaborates with the us forest service to offer the summit tunnel heritage tours. In addition, other rural chinatown sites were visited for this project in fy2024, including fresno, hanford, and marysville.

Education program includes curriculum design, lesson planning, and teaching resources for k-12.

Context study is a multi-year dc historical context study project that includes oral histories, public site visits, and public engagement programs; this includes research and draft historical summary of chinese and koreans residing in dc.

Dc tours is an oral history and site preservation project to address dc chinatown's gentrification issues; affects innumerable people using traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture, buddhist temple, corner chinese market (off h. St), chinatown restaurants, and tourism.

Range 99 is a donor-based project at the congressional cemetery to commemorate chinese americans and their contributions in the united states.
