Mission
19 Legacy will operate competitive youth sports teams (e.g. baseball/softball) in the Bloomington/Normal, Illinois area. The Not-For-Profit Corp will operate for the purpose of teaching baseball and softball to youth and conducting devotional and charitable activities. The Corp's mission and vision are based on Biblical scripture Joshua 1:9. The teams will conduct devotional activities at practices and pray at the end of each practice and game. The teams will conduct charitable activities in the community (e.g. purchasing gifts for children of low-income families through Angel Tree conducted by the Salvation Army). The board of directors/officers/coaches are all unpaid volunteers. All of the Corp's time will be allocated to its educational and charitable organizational purposes. Facility rental fees/costs, equipment, tournament fees, compensation for officials, uniforms, and additional expenses will be funded through player fees and local fundraisers such as bagging groceries, etc.
