To attract new investment & development to the area and to facilitate joint activities among the community through educational endeavors; to seek, receive and accept funds from public and private gifts, trusts, donations, grants,and other sources to promote these purposes

Renovate Clendenin Middle School to restore 10 apartments that became unfit for occupancy in the 2016 flood to provide housing for low to moderate income individuals and families; to convert 1st floor space from living space to office space since floodplain restrictions no longer allow housing on the 1st floor; to move utilities out of floodplain; to install new HVAC equpment with greater efficiency and resiliency.
Renovate Roxy Theater to eventually operate as a theater and multi-purpose center for the benefit of the community.
