The 3-21 Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to advancing innovations in education and cognition for people with Down syndrome Our programs and services are grounded on evidence-based approaches to teaching students with Down syndrome Our intervention model for students has served as a platform for sharing educational strategies resources and activities with families while our educational consulting practice provides coaching and guidance to schools to promote the effective instruction and inclusion of students with Down syndrome intellectual disabilities and other complex learning needs To fuel our efforts our advocacy work involves taking certain positions on educational and research-oriented issues with an emphasis on protecting and promoting the rights of people with Down syndrome In all that we do we strive to improve life outcomes for people with Down syndrome
