Mission
The 475th Fighter Group Historical Foundation actively collects, preserves, and provides for display, memorabilia related to the 475th Fighter Group in World War II and all P-38 related activities in general. It has actively supported the construction and display of a museum hanger for the 475th Fighter Group at the Planes of Fame Flight Museum at Chino California airport. Additionally, it has accumulated many historical items from the actual members of the 475th Fighter Group. These items are being cataloged, stored, and offered for display at the Planes of Fame facility as well as other similar venues in the United States. In 2016, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum became a site for an additional permanent exhibit of the 475th's activities.
