Workshops and Virtual Trainings- We provide free and low-cost training via quarterly workshop where we discuss leadership, career development, mental wellness and 911 operations. In 2024 we provided four half-day virtual training events and had about a total of 228 attendees. We also provide virtual workbooks and certificates of completion that go towards the attendee continuing education credits.
Conferences and In-Person Academies- We provide low-cost, best-in-class training for women in 911 to develop themselves professionally and personally. We bring 4-5 national speakers to areas that dont always have the ability to travel to training. In 2024, we performed three academies in three different cities. We had about 88 attendees from across the country. We provide workbooks and certificates of completion.In-Person Academies -
911 Community Networking Events - Making connections is extremely important in the 911 community. We host events where women in 911 can meet each other, learn from each other, find mentorship, community, and sources of information. In 2024, there were about 300 participants in our networking events. This led to women in 911 making connections and allowed us to award 3 911 professionals with Woman of the Year awards and runners up.
