Mission
We are exposing the community to the vast opportunities within aviation and aerospace including an annual 5-week curriculum. Activities for curriculum grads range from discovery flights and facility tours Blue Origin JetBlue etc. to airshows and virtual courses all FREE of charge. The org has also gained admission for its students into sponsored flight training programs including an annual Solo Flight Academy in Houston and summer programs with FIT Aviation Florida Tech. In addition to its ever-growing cohort The 99th also provides programming for existing organizations of students with STEM interest most recently providing flights tours and ground exercises for Jack and Jill of America AMI Kids the Alternative Learning Centers the D.O.C.K. and Eckerd Connect. Board Members have appeared as guest speakers to promote aviation and engineering throughout Brevard Public Schools.
