Mission
AGW envisions a world where farming benefits people, animals and the environment through integrity and transparency. A Greener World identifies, audits, certifies and promotes practical, sustainable farming systems by supporting farmers and ranchers and informing consumers. AGW's growing family of trusted certification programs are designed to have positive and measurable impacts on the environment, society and animals, and to encourage truly sustainable farming practices. AGW's standards and procedures are robust, transparent and achievable.

Certified Regenerative by AGW is the only certification in North America that provides a holistic assurance of continual improvement, measuring real change in partnership to benefit soil, water, air, biodiversity, infrastructure, animal welfare and social responsibility. This innovative program functions as a management tool, verifying farms are meeting initial rigorous sustainability standards and making continual improvement through documented, audited regenerative planning.
Certified Grassfed by AGW is the only certification and logo in the U.S. and Canada that guarantees food products come from animals fed a 100 percent grass and forage diet and raised outdoors on pasture and range according to the highest welfare standards in the industry, Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW. While other grassfed labels exist, none can match the breadth, integrity, and transparency that Certified Grassfed by AGW offers.
Certified Non-GMO by AGW is the only certification in North America that helps consumers avoid genetically modified food ingredients and support high-welfare, environmentally sustainable animal husbandry. Available to farmers, ranchers and food producers, the Certified Non-GMO by AGW label guarantees production without genetically engineered/modified feed, supplements or ingredients, and ensures animals are raised according to the highest welfare standards in the industry, Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW.
