A Place Called Home

Learning & career development: our learning and career development programs empower youth through personalized mentoring, college application support, scholarship guidance, career training, internships, and employment opportunities. In 2023-2024, more than 350 youth received over 2,500 hours of direct services, developed critical leadership skills, and were awarded 64 higher education scholarships.

Arts and creative expression: our arts and creative expressions (ace) programs empower youth through music, dance, digital media, and visual arts, fostering creative literacy, self-expression, and socioemotional growth. In 2023-2024, ace engaged over 900 youth, secured scholarships to berklee college of music, collaborated with bodytraffic, heidi duckler dance theatre, bollypop la, and la commons, and showcased talents in 30+ events citywide, amplifying youth leadership and artistic careers.

Other program activities included, community outreach & volunteerism, ed tech, programs operations, and wellness.
