FISCAL SPONSORSHIPS: Our donor-subsidized Fiscal Sponsorship program empowers mission-aligned projects in the U.S. and globally to receive tax-deductible donations and foundation grants without 501c3 status. In 2024 we facilitated a record-breaking $1.3+ million in support for plant-based hunger relief farmed animal advocacy and climate-friendly food initiatives. Our streamlined Model C sponsorships include custom donation forms and extended giving options ex: crypto vehicle donations. This program expands access to funding amplifies grassroots voices and advances our shared mission of promoting global food justice. Fiscal sponsorships operate from a pre-approved granting model. Since our inception in 2009 this Fiscal Sponsorship program has provided $8+ million in sponsored grants. When combined with our direct Global Grants program above we have distributed $17+ million in 100 countries awfw.org grants-countries.

ADVOCACY - EDUCATION - MOVEMENT-BUILDING: Our primary advocacy is promoting the benefits of plant-based foods and farming to address global hunger food security climate change natural resource depletion and animal ecosystem protection. We accomplish this through alliance-building movement-building presentations research education campaigns online resources and free handouts awfw.org handouts. In particular we champion plant-based proteins through our campaigns How You Bean! Bean Around the World Cool Beans PB&J Every Day and the Planetary Pulse Project in collaboration with Seed Programs International. Forthcoming campaigns include Beans Not Beings and SeaKind our Oceans and Aquatic Health campaign. Free Climate-Friendly Food Guides are available at ClimateFoodGuide.org or awfw.org climatefoodguide. Our burgeoning Nano Nonprofits program provides no-cost and low-cost assistance in operations finance program outreach and fundraising to very small nano nonprofits that are mission-aligned.
