To instruct and train individuals in track and field, cross country running, road racing, and other usa track and field activities. To promote the appreciation of, to participate in, and to arrange and conduct usa track and field events. To cultivate the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, and fair play. To grant athletic scholarships to individuals. To solicit and receive contributions, grants, donations, bequests, and devises of property of all kinds.
