Able farms seeks to cultivate a christ-centered missional farm community where persons of all abilities and backgrounds experience belonging, love & equality. We believe that everyone, regardless of their intellectual or physical abilities or pace in life, deserves a place to belong where they are loved and seen as god's child. Able farms exists to be a working farm where people of all abilities and all walks of life come together to work, play, grow, and enjoy meaningful relationships so that everyone is able to flourish. Able farms plans to develop a theraputic horseback riding program, gardens and greenhouses for fruit, vegetables, and flowers that can be sold, herds of livestock animals to be cared for and sold, a pet rescue and adoption center, a store for goods to be sold, and eventually a residential center where adults and families with disabilities could live semi-independently under the supervisions of a qualified and compassionate caregiver.
