Acadia University Us Foundation Nova Scotia

The Foundation was established in 2008. Its purpose is to develop public knowledge and awareness by the American public of the work being conducted by Acadia University, and to encourage financial support for the University and its programs. The Foundation may determine the manner in which the funds available shall be used and distributed for the benefit of Acadia University, and in so determining, be governed by the provisions of any bequest or trust or any conditions to which a transfer is made pursuant to the University Foundations Act. The Foundation is a public charity and, under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code Act, is exempt from paying income taxes.
