To serve the holistic needs of immigrants, refugees, and mainstream community members, and to foster understanding, compassion, and communication between oregon-established communities and new arrivals.

In 2024, accent network remained committed to its efforts in education and outreach regarding vaccination. Our nonprofit organization also hosted numerous vaccine events. Through these activities, we successfully reached over 15,000 immigrants and refugees.

Accent network informs immigrants from post-soviet countries about the health risks of fishing and consuming fish and shellfish from the lower willamette river. We also foster a sense of ownership and environmental responsibility by offering hands-on river training, educational programs, and resources that actively engage immigrant and refugee communities in cleanup and stewardship efforts around portland harbor.
