Mission

To provide and promote quality health care in a way that makes it more accessible with the following goals: to remove financial and social barriers to health care; to promote health through services, education and advocacy; to teach and provide culturally competent health care.

Programs

5 programs

Dental services - access provides dental services, including cleanings, oral hygiene instruction, dental exams, restorative care, dentures, root canals, extractions, sealants, fillings, x-rays, and oral surgeries, to underserved and uninsured patients at four of their clinics. The experienced team provides the highest level of dental care so the patients can achieve a state of enduring oral health. Emphasis is placed on oral hygiene and the prevention of tooth decay and periodontal (gum) disease.

Expenses: $15.1M

Ancillary services- access provides ancillary services to underserved and uninsured patients at their clinics. Examples include interpreter services, screening for medicaid eligibility and enrollment in access' sliding discount program.

Expenses: $4.2M

Behavioral health - access provides behavioral health services to underserved and uninsured patients at three of the clinics. Psychologists are part of the health care team and work closely with a primary care provider. Patients are offered assistance when emotional, behavioral, or physical problems are interfering with their daily lives. The behavioral health consultants provide brief and solution-focused options as part of the primary care visits. Behavioral health consultants can help make positive lifestyle changes by assisting in developing plans to address various medical conditions, including headaches, diabetes, smoking, asthma, hypertension, and alcohol and otherdrug abuse.

Expenses: $1.9M

Pharmacy - access has an active pharmacy program that enables them to offer convenient access to low-cost medication to all patients at each location. The pharmacy services address both financial and transportation issues that patients often encounter when getting their prescriptions filled. Also, by enabling patients to obtain medications prior to leaving the clinics, access can ensure that they understand why and how they should be used.

Expenses: $1.7M

Facilities and leasing - access has subsidiaries of achc facilities, inc. And achc facilities - sun prairie, inc. That own properties that are leased to access.
