Programs
1 program
Legal the aclu of utah foundation receives hundreds of requests for legal assistance from individuals each year through the mail, phone, and email. We review each inquiry and provide a customized response. We select legal cases to pursue according to criteria that include: the nature of the complaint, the impact of the issue beyond the individual complainant, the novelty of the issue, and the availability of alternative legal assistance. In addition to litigation, we undertake legal advocacy with local and state elected officials and policymakers.
