EducationEducation - Education Services includes both Youth Education Services and AdultEducation Services.A) The purpose of the Youth Education-LEARN Works after school program is to fosteracademic development and advance family engagement for enrolled students andfamilies. We focus on reading, math skill building, and providing enrichmentopportunities. We served 59 students in 1st to 6th grade from area schools.B) In Adult Education, we partnered with International House of Charlotte to host Adult ESL classes of various days, times, and levels at the center.

Impact & EngagementA.Collective Impact - The Ada Jenkins Cetner serves as the backbone organization for collective impact efforts for the North Meck area working to ensure ours is a community where everyone can live the life they choose. We convene neighborhood advocates, nonprofit partners, church partners, business leaders, and others to connect people, information, resources, and opportunities. Over 60 people from dozens of organizations attend meetings to collaborate and reduce silos. B.Volunteer Income Tax Assistance(VITA) provides free tax preparation for people in our community allowing them to access that service for free and ensuring their taxes are submitted accurately. VITA served 486 households with a total estimated cost savings of $131,220 for clients.
