Mission
We are committed to empowering African American and underserved communities by addressing violence in all forms-gun violence, human trafficking, domestic violence, and gender-based violence. Our Rapid Response initiative swiftly rescues children from human trafficking, providing immediate care and long-term support. We offer vital services for survivors and families affected by violence, including advocacy, relocation assistance for homicide victims' families, therapy, and healing resources. We aim to foster safe, resilient communities where individuals can rebuild their lives. We create culturally relevant environments for healing and growth through our Credible Messengers and healing spaces like Locker Room and sISTAR Healing Circles.

Healing and Restorative Services: Focused on community healing, conflict resolution, and re-entry support for victims of violent crimes. Provided aftercare and funeral assistance to impacted families.
NACT (Neighborhood Action and Community Transformation): Community development initiatives included the creation of green spaces, community-led events, and workshops on financial literacy and employment readiness.
Partnership and Gender-Based Violence Services: Provided trauma-informed support to individuals affected by partnership and gender-based violence, including group counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy.
Town Nights: Structured, family-friendly events aimed at preventing violence and fostering unity through resource distribution and youth mentorship.
