Mission
Adoption Helpers exists to meet the needs of foster, adoptive, and kinship families. We provide resource connection to other area organizations as well as provide free respite care for these families through community events as well as in-home babysitting.

Adoption Helpers provides 4 hours of free childcare to foster, adoptive, and kinship families by utilizing trauma informed volunteers. During these in-home respite visits, Adoption Helpers provides a meal and brings in new games or activities for the children. By providing a meal, the parents/caregivers can truly step away with very little planning. The new games or activities assist in the transition of parents/caregivers leaving and connection with volunteers.
Adoption Helpers also assists with financial needs of these foster, adoptive, and kinship families. In 2023, Adoption Helpers was able to pay all legal expenses for a kinship family to adopt their great-grandson.
