Issue based advocacy / other primary purpose programming: another way of fulfilling our primary purpose as an organization is to assist residents across north carolina by connecting issues in their community to the political process. In 2024 advance carolina produced several programs to help residents understand the political context and elected offices that impact their everyday lives.
Advance notice: our podcast established to help address policy concerns in these issue areas: environmental racism, healthcare, homelessness, education, criminal justice. They are researched and responded to by our organization. This allows information to be shared on a digital platform for maximum outreach.
