Ami will work to support smm's by advancing manufacturing technology learning opportunities to communities of interest. By focusing on regional manufacturing networks, ami can tailor solutions based on the dynamics of a specific region. Expected outcomes from ami efforts are: - an increase in the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the regional workforce - increased cooperation and coordination between regional manufacturers and training providers - an increase in the understanding of smart manufacturing technologies by the smm's - a broader understanding of industry recognized credentials.
