Hiv services: hiv case management linking consumers to medical and support services; psychosocial support services, including "connections" a wellness drop-in center; daily meals; and rep payee services in the greater hartford area. Short-term case management was provided to soon-to-be released hiv inmates throughout ct. 3,547 units of service were provided . The prevention staff conducted over 175 hiv tests; made referrals to substance use treatment, sti screening/treatment, housing, and mental health services; trained and distributed overdose prevention kits to 207 individuals. Prevention and sti information was distributed through 607 orders including 889,274 condoms and 102,266 prevention supplies

Financial empowerment services: our network of 16 community-based volunteer income tax assistance (vita) sites provided 10,109 free tax preparation and access to the federal and state earned income tax credits (eitcs) and federal child tax credit with tax returns of 13 million in federal refunds and credits. We also provided asset-building services to help families move out of poverty, serving 1,806 through 123 classes. We assisted 511 returning citizens (from incarceration) to become established in the community, including opening up new bank accounts.
