To help the disadvantaged and disenfranchised in our community by empowering individuals through compassinate emergency care, life education, and community development

Swimming pool programs: acsw provides swimming pool seervices to the community for a nominal fee. Educational programs in the areas of basic,intermediate and advanced swimming lessons; kayak safety training,; and sucba diving safety training are also provided. Health programs offer water aerobics in shallow waternand in deep water, and lap swimming is available during open house. Charitable programs to encourage participation include: *discounted swim sessions for elementary school children during the school day *discounted swim time for city recreation department programs *discounted rates for low-income adults, senior and children

Education and job training: computer and software training - students are trained in the use of current computer hardware and software with the goals of acquiring hands on experience and the ability to take and pass the national it certification exams. English as a second language (esl)/ged-students are taught coversational english, as well as how to read and write english, so that thye are prepared to take and pass the general educational development exam. Computer classes -begimmer computer classes are taught by certified instructors.
